Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Enrolled Angel ("the Service"), operated by Enrolled Angel ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Enrolled Angel is a web-based platform that provides practice questions, mock exams, and study tools for the IRS Special Enrollment Examination (SEE), commonly known as the Enrolled Agent exam. The Service is intended for educational and exam preparation purposes only.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Subscription and Billing

Enrolled Angel offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription.

• The free tier provides limited access, including up to 3 lifetime practice sessions, notebook access, and analytics.
• The Pro subscription is available on a monthly or annual billing cycle at the current listed price and provides unlimited access to all features. Promotional pricing (such as launch discounts) applies only to the initial billing cycle unless explicitly stated otherwise; subsequent renewals are billed at the standard rate in effect at the time of renewal.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle. You may cancel at any time through the Stripe customer portal accessible from your account settings. Upon cancellation, you retain Pro access until the end of your current billing cycle, after which no further charges will be made.

5. Refund Policy

All purchases are non-refundable except as set forth below. To request a refund within an eligible window, contact us at ej@uxmock.io from the email address associated with your account.

• Annual subscriptions. You may request a full refund within 14 days of the initial purchase, provided you have completed fewer than 10 practice sessions or mock exams on the account. Renewals of annual subscriptions are non-refundable.
• Monthly subscriptions. Monthly subscription fees are non-refundable. You may cancel at any time and will retain Pro access through the end of the current billing period.
• Discretionary refunds. Outside the windows above, refunds may be granted at our sole discretion on a case-by-case basis (for example, in cases of duplicate charges or extended service outages).
• Chargebacks. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us may result in immediate termination of access. We reserve the right to dispute any chargeback we believe to be unwarranted.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Share, redistribute, or resell content from the Service, including questions, explanations, or exam materials.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or programmatically access the Service without authorization.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits or abuse the free tier.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Service, including but not limited to questions, explanations, graphics, and software, is the property of Enrolled Angel or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that using the Service will result in passing the EA exam. Exam results depend on individual preparation, effort, and other factors beyond our control.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Enrolled Angel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, though provisions that by their nature should survive will remain in effect.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
